Just got back from RiverView Ranch and WOW. Really amazing experience. To start the airport pick-up was super convenient, and as we drove up to the lodge a huge herd of at least 200 elk were just hanging out, very cool to see firsthand. The property itself is gorgeous. The rooms have views of their private lake and the mountains. Our room was spotless with the most comfortable bed (and they had like 8 different pillow options which my neck appreciated). Every night they'd do turndown service with aromatherapy (of you wanted it) and leave lil' surprises which was an adorable and cozy touch. The foood! Dave and Tom (the chefs) are seriously talented. Every meal was farm-to-table and absolutely delicious. I have some pretty annoying dietary restrictions and they handled everything with ease. Tiana and Tatum took care of us at every meal and were just genuinely nice people who remembered how we liked our coffee, that I love an extra scoop of ice cream, and both had a superb sense of humor. Impeccable service through and through. Activities were varied which kept things entertaining and enjoyable. We did archery (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!), shooting range, horseback riding, several water sports on the lake, mountain biking etc. Landon ran the shooting, archery and Polaris tour and was excellent at instruction, I was hitting clays and targets which was super exciting for me as a first timer. My husband was having an absolute blast. Baxter handled the water sports and seriously knows how to drive for an awesome session doing jet-ski wakeboarding! The horse program with Julie and Ruth made me sooo happy. I ride hunter/jumper and dressage back home, and I'm usually disappointed with equestrian activities on trips but this was quite rewarding. The horses are beautiful and well-cared for, and they matched us with the horse that would best for our individual sizes and experience levels. The trails had that exploratory factor to them that kept the rides fun, and we were able to get close to the Elk! The stables were cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in and tack was well maintained. They have a solid gym plus mountain bikes you can take out on the trails. What really made the whole thing special was how they manage the bookings. There were other guests but it never felt crowded. It felt like we had this massive Montana ranch mostly to ourselves. The staff genuinely seemed to enjoy working there and it showed in everything they did. The cottages for bigger groups looked amazing too - we're already talking about coming back with friends next year. If you're looking for a Montana ranch experience whether you're a couple, have kids, or planning a corporate retreat, this place nails it.

Staying here was nothing short of transformational. From the moment we arrived, we were wined, dined, and welcomed like family. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way, not just for me, but especially for my son. They kept him engaged and challenged with thoughtful activities and genuine connection, it felt like they’d known him for years. He still talks about the staff and asks when we can go back to see them. He developed a sweet connection, I don’t doubt that he’ll find his way back at some point. The food? Absolutely phenomenal, every meal was a highlight, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. It’s hard to say what the highlights were, because everything was spot on, but the food the chefs prepared! It couldn’t have been any better. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and the perfect retreat after long days of adventure. Incredibly comfy bed with turn down service. What’s stayed with me most is the warmth of the staff. I find myself thinking about them often, wondering how they’re doing, and hoping I’ll have the chance to return someday. This place doesn’t just meet expectations, it gave us memories we’ll carry for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a getaway that blends luxury, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Our stay at RiverView Ranch Montana was truly memorable, thanks to the genuine warmth and heartfelt hospitality of the entire crew. The major highlight was learning to ride a horse. As a nervous beginner, the patience and encouragement from Ruth, Anna, and Julia made all the difference. Their expertise and deep connection with the animals gave me the confidence I need to feel comfortable and excited for the trails. They didn't just teach me how to ride; they showed me the language of the horse. This exceptional care extended to every part of our stay. Before we arrived, Kayla communicated with us and put together a thoughtful and personalized itinerary that perfectly matched our interests. The meals prepared by chefs Dave and Tom were delicious. Every single dish is a delight. I especially enjoyed our chats about different cuisines and their cooking tips. Tatum, Shelly, and Sydney were incredibly warm and always ready to help. A huge thank you to Baxter, Landon, and Soren as well, for leading the charge on so many fun activities (especially archery) and incredible adventures. Our housekeeper, Avery, was the best; she kept the room immaculate and left thoughtful gifts for us each night. It was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Riverview Ranch at the beginning of October was nothing short of a magical weekend. A luxurious escape tucked along the national forest with acres to explore. Michael and Kayla were so welcoming and keep this place running so great. From the moment we got picked up at the airport to the arrival with champagne, the staff made us feel so welcomed! Each meal that we had better and better and we enjoyed watching the chefs cook and being able to ask any questions we wanted during the meal service. The entire experience was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect, real Montana experience!

This was truly an amazing experience for our family of four (kids 1 and 4). The ranch is beautiful and scenery is breathtaking. The staff make this place one of a kind. The service/hospitality of each individual is exceptional. They truly take care of you (and our littles!). Our curated experience was perfect, organized, flexible. We spent 5 days at the lodge in October and from the moment we arrived they catered to our every need. At dinner, they asked us what the kids wanted to eat and we were given a menu daily to make modifications for our own meals. The food and drinks were amazing, with many beer and wine options and unique mocktails. A gorgeous and delicious picnic was organized for us and perfectly laid out. The scheduled activities were so well structured, and the experiences are now a lifelong memory for us. We did meet and greet with the horses, donkeys, highland cows, carriage ride, archery, horseback riding, shooting range, fishing, and Polaris tour to name a few. Turn down service included a special gift each night that the kids loved. The staff exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much to Kayla, Michael, Tiana, Tatum, Soren, Landon, Julia, Brian and Dave, Shelly and everyone else for creating such a magical adventure!

The experience was truly remarkable. It presented a considerable challenge to adapt initially. However, the outcome was exceptionally positive. I found the overall journey to be highly rewarding. It was a valuable learning opportunity, despite the initial difficulties.

Our trip to Riverview Ranch in Montana was a fantastic experience. Inspired by the show Yellowstone, the wife and I decided to visit the ranch and were greeted with stunning clouds during our arriving plane trip. The Missoula airport looks like it was just remodeled, very nice small airport. Upon airport arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Baxter and escorted to the ranch in a new Ford Expedition. Kayla, the general manager, personally showed us to our nicely appointed suite, and we enjoyed a relaxing drink at the bar before dinner, where they had an excellent meal prepared by Chef Dave. After dinner we relaxed because we were tired from travelling. Day 2 was filled with exciting activities: the wife enjoyed the gym, while we both participated in horse riding and ATV tours. The ATV ride across the ranch was a highlight, with guides Soren and Landon leading the way. The day ended with a peaceful carriage tour and a relaxed dinner. Day 3 was packed with more fun—shooting range activities with various guns, followed by a lake excursion that included kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, and tubing. Our day concluded with a thunderstorm viewed from the balcony after dinner. On our final day, we had breakfast, enjoyed a delayed departure with a lunch at the ranch, and were driven back to the airport by Mike, the director of operations. I would like to express our gratitude to the staff, like Dave, Evan, Soren, Landon, Kayla, Mike, Ana, Baxter, and Tatiana (and all the others I cant remember the names of) for their excellent service. Having visited many high-end resorts, we both agreed this was one of our best trips ever—especially since it was a kid-free getaway! We are already planning to return and have highly recommended Riverview Ranch to others, confident that anyone who visits will have an amazing time.
